Who we are

Peer Ledger Inc. is committed to providing the highest standards of privacy with respect to your personal data when you are using our website or the Peer Ledger Product, as defined in our Terms of Use and GDPR addendum.

Our Product involves collaborative integrity checking of outbound and inbound supply chains, to enable Peer Ledger to effectively trace and track data relating to products using our innovative blockchain platform. We ensure that only relevant and necessary data is collected from our users, and that personal data (i.e. data about an identifiable individual), is only collected, used and disclosed in accordance with this Policy.

If you have any questions about this Policy or our privacy practices, you can email us at info@peerledger.com.

What personal data we collect and why

We limit the collection of your personal data to that which is required for the provision of the Product to you, as outlined in this Policy and the Terms of Service.

When you sign up to use our Product or create an account with us, we ask for your name, phone number and email address. This personal data allows us to set up your account and provide the Product to you. We retain this information for as long as you have an account with Peer Ledger and longer if required in order to provide the Product to our users – for example, to allow for effective tracing and investigation related to a particular product.

We may also ask you to create a username in order to create an account. We may also, from time to time, send you emails relating to the Product, new product development, or research initiatives.

We may collect and process credit card information through Stripe, a third party service provider. We do not retain your credit card information, and we only process it on behalf of Stripe in order to process payment for our Product.

We also collect the IP address of your computer in order to enable us to detect unauthorized transactions, better manage website traffic, and to gather other analytics on our site.
